At The Nest, we provide compassionate support with the activities of daily living that many of our residents need help with, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, moving safely around the home, toileting, and eating. Our trained, caring team works with each resident to preserve dignity and independence while ensuring comfort and safety, tailoring assistance to individual needs as determined by a personal care plan.

Medication Support

Managing medications can be complex. Our experienced staff members are trained and certified according to Maryland regulations to assist with medication administration and reminders. We conduct thorough reviews of each resident’s medication regime on admission and regularly thereafter, and work with healthcare providers and pharmacists to ensure safe, accurate medication management. Residents who are able to safely self-administer may do so with appropriate oversight, while others receive supportive assistance from qualified staff.

Home-Cooked Meals & Housekeeping

We believe that mealtime should be enjoyable and nourishing. Our daily meal planning focuses on balanced, home-style menus that meet residents’ dietary preferences and nutritional needs. In addition to preparing and serving fresh, wholesome meals, we take responsibility for routine housekeeping, laundry, and household care, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment that feels like home.

24/7 Supervision & Support

Your loved one’s safety and well-being are our top priorities. The Nest is staffed around the clock to provide scheduled and unscheduled support, supervision, and assistance as needed. Our team is trained to respond promptly to residents’ needs, from everyday care to unexpected changes in condition, ensuring support is available day and night
